Rules and regulations are in place to make sure hunters understand where to go, what they’re doing and what is legal. Unfortunately, game laws are sometimes broken because of a lack of understanding or a blatant disregard for the law.
The Idaho Department of Fish and Game released a series of short videos that addresses some of the more common violations such as:
- failure to stop at a game station
- no evidence of sex, shooting from or across a public highway or right of way
- possession and transportation without proxy
- failure to properly validate a tag
Be familiar with the rules and regulations wherever you hunt. If you happen to see any questionable behavior in the field, contact your state wildlife agency.
