The weekend of June 16th volunteers from across North Dakota descended on the small community of Medora for their first annual ND volunteer workshop. With multiple chapters represented, the conversations were lively going over banquet results from the spring banquet season, looking forward to 2024 events and figuring out how to make them even livelier and more fun for attendees. Topics ranged from chapter restarts to possible new chapters as well as how to run the new auction bump raffle and all the ways to incorporate table sales into an event.
Throughout the weekend a great deal of team building and networking took place during meetings as well as during some of the free time with folks touring Theodore Roosevelt National Park and attending the Medora Musical.
The workshop was a great event and planning has already started for the second annual workshop next year, hopefully more volunteers from across North Dakota can attend to share their success stories and learn new and exciting ideas to benefit ND elk country!
