The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation awards grant funding to scores of organizations every year to assist them in their efforts and to help ensure the future of our hunting heritage. One of those groups, the Greene County Scholastic Clay Target Program team, took full advantage by racking up 34 awards during the recent state meet in Pennsylvania.
According to the Observer-Reporter, more than 225 young shooters from across the state competed.
Team members won four divisions, placed second in one division and third in three divisions. They also accumulated nine individual and one collegiate award.
