Wildlife officials in Montana are seeking information regarding the poaching of two bull elk—one south of Hysham in east-central Montana and the other in the southwest part of the state in the Bitterroot Valley.
Someone poached a bull, cut off its head and left the meat to waste on private land off Sarpy Highway 383 near mile marker 38, south of Interstate 94.
The discovery of another poached bull took place off the side of Three Mile Creek Road, near the entrance to the Three Mile Wildlife Management Area east of Florence where someone removed the antlers and about half of the meat but left the rest to waste.
Wardens are currently investigating both incidents. If you have any information, call 1-800-TIP-MONT.
